Personal Assistant 

Established in 1918, Newcastle Grammar School is one of the leading independent schools for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. An opportunity now exists for a Personal Assistant to join our Administration and Student Support Services department. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Director of Co-curricular and Head of Finance and Business Services, as well as providing assistance with property management tasks. This is a permanent part-time position engaged at 25 hours per week during term time and has the potential to increase depending on the growth of the position.

About You

You are a passionate individual who has the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar PA position, providing support to executive members of staff essential; 
  • Previous experience in assisting with property management is desirable but not required;
  • Willingness to develop an understanding of the School’s services, product, and property;
  • A strong degree of computer literacy, competent with Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  • The ability to work well within a team or autonomously;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with all internal and external stakeholders; and 
  • A valid Working with Children’s Check.
