It was terrific to see a teacher recognised in the Australian of the Year awards. Eddie Woo who won the Local Hero award plans to use his award to promote the value of education. Eddie Woo states "I love helping people learn and it is an unending privilege being able to interact with young people and help them grow, flourish and find their place out in the world."
