Some of you may have watched part of this series on teachers on the ABC. Jane Caro goes into three schools in this series to find out “what really make teachers tick”. You see the variety of roles a teacher takes on in any one day. Teachers have passion for their subject areas, for the students they teach and innately understand the impact they have. The role can be unrelenting during term time – a good teacher has multiple interactions each day, prepares both content for lessons and also considers how each student in their classroom learns.
